This car is built by the famous auto manufacturer from Spain, the SEAT. It is a super mini car and was first released during the 2008 car show in Geneva. It looks really dashing and the bumper is black plastic material. It was named after this black plastic material. It also sports a headlight which is found in Perspex.

The engine is powerful indeed as it boasts a power 180bjp giving it a great pick up and acceleration. Further the seven gear system makes it an absolute delight. The Bocanegra model was designed by the same person who worked on Lamborghini. His name is Luc Donckerwolke.

SEAT 1200 sport model was a car which was designed in the 1970s. It was also known as Bocanegra for its black exterior. The same name has been adopted for this model. The Spanish meaning of this name is chick looking automobile black mouth. It is no doubt called black mouth as its front fender has a distinctive look that closely resembles a black mouth!!

The engine also sports a 1.4TSI performance which is great for an already superb looking automobile! Being one of the best models from the Spanish company it is also a fast selling model!

The SEAT Cordoba is the smaller adaptation of the supermini SEAT Ibiza, which was built by a Spanish automaker that was called SEAT. It was built from the year 1993 until the year 2008.

As SEAT’s authorized rally car, the Cordoba WRC was based on the original Cordoba, and is was built featuring a 2.0L turbocharged engine. The Cordoba WRC was the certified rally car from 1998 until 2000.

The first version of the Cordoba was launched in the summer months of the year 1993. It was named by Giorgetto Giugiaro, an Italian designer, and it was based on the frame of the Ibiza MK2.

The Ibiza MK2 would give rise to the Volkswagen Polo MK3 the upcoming year. In the year 1996 the Cordoba family was extended to include a station wagon, the Cordoba Vario, and a coupe, called the Cordoba SX.

The same engines used in the Cordoba family of cars are also features in the Ibiza and in the Volkswagen Polo. It was considerably cheaper (to make) than the sedan adaptations of small family cars, such as the Ford Escort and others. Its frame was almost equal in size, but it didn’t match the interior space simply because of the shorter wheelbase.

The SEAT Toledo was launched in 1991,and will probably be replaced by the SEAT Bolero, launched in 2008.The Toledo is named

The SEAT Toledo was launched in 1991,and will probably be replaced by the SEAT Bolero, launched in 2008.The Toledo is named after one of Spain’s UNESCO World Heritage Cities. The city was first mentioned in historical documents in 192 BC.when it was captured by a Roman army under the command of Marcus Fulvius. It has a rich history and was,at one time the capital of Spain. It became a World Heritage City in 1986.

The Toledo was marketed as a relatively cheap family saloon, but its reviewers were quick to point out that it looked almost the same as the SEAT Altea, and although advertised as a ‘saloon’,the Toledo is,in fact,a hatchback.SEAT itself calls the rear end a ‘notchback’.

The Toledo is more expensive than the Altea,so there seemed to be few incentives to purchase one.It does, however have more space for luggage in the boot than the Altea and is a little larger and heavier. It has tall doors, too, which makes it easy to get in and out of,and this is also facilitated by its “raised drive” position, which puts it on a par with a medium-sized people carrier.

The first generation Toledo remained in production until 1999 when it was replaced by the second generation car,and the third generation Toledo was launched in 2004.This is a compact MPV with a high roof and back end.It did not live up to the expectations of its producers, and some people have claimed that this is because of the design which has both hatchback and saloon aspects.

The sports version of the Toledo has a powerful V5 engine and has been favourably compared to the VW Bora, which is more expensive.

Both market researchers and SEAT agree that there have been few problems reported in association with the Toledo, and owners have commended it upon its reliabilty.

The advice of British reviewers when the first Toledo was launched was to buy the Altea, but they were far more positive about the sportier version. One reviewer for carpages.com said”If a car is a mirror of its driver’s personality, then the Toledo Sport owner is most definitely a free-thinker who wants to be different, but not brash.”

The Toledo had a degree of success in Spain,as it was used as a police car in Martorell,Barcelona, where the company is based.SEAT want there vehicles to have a high profile in places where they run their operations,so they were gratified by this.

Whether or not the Toledo will continue to be produced, though cannot be answered at the moment.

In 2008 SEAT Deutschland announced that it would produce 55 limited edition SEAT LEONs that is also called SEAT LEONS Copa edition. SEAT Mexico made 100 of these cars in orange with black stripes, and with a sunroof.

The LEON STREETCOPA limited edition car was displayed at the 2008 Geneva Auto Show, a limited edition model similar to the Leon Copa edition. The LEON World Championship Edition, of 200 cars, which followed up the SEAT win of the “World Touring Car Championship”.

The SEAT 310 limited edition of 100 cars was produced by SEAT Nederland, and among the extra features it boasted a Bluetooth connection.

Finally there was a one-off model by the star Shakira which was auctioned, aith the proceeds going to the Pies Descalzos Foundation which she supports. Mechanically this car was no different to the LEON CUPRA.

The first SEAT Leon was introduced in 1998 and the MK2 found its way onto the market in 2005.It is still being produced. This model was designed by Walter De’Silva,as was the SEAT IBIZA MK3 and it certainly has similarities to the earlier design.

However this car is marketed as a family car, although it does have a sporty image. It’s a 5 door hatchback again with petrol or diesel engines, but there is also an alternative Liquefied Petroleum Gas [LPG] engine in this model. It’s assembled in Spain only, currently, and the basic model has a 16 valve 1.2 liter petrol engine.

The sportier version is the Leon FR which was launched in June 2006 and this has 6 or 7 speed Direct Shift Gear [DSG] options. The top of the range model is the 2.0 liter Cupra model, again a sporty variety of Leon. In 2009 the Cupra was used in the SEAT CUPRA mobile game marketed by Apple for its iPhone or iPod.

The Leon’s sales record is mixed. It is popular with Mexico’s young upper classes but has problems because of the sorry state of the roads and its sport tuned suspension. In Britain, sales have been good, although it has not met with as much success as the VW Golf MK4 which it was to compete with, being cheaper and in the same category.

This model was launched at the Geneva Motor Show in 2008 and first went on sale in the summer of that year, competing with superminis manufactured by other car producers. It comes in 3 and 5 door hatchback models and there is also an estate. It was designed by Luc Donckerwolke.

A special version of this model was on show at the Barcelona Motor Show in 2009, made to celebrate the car’s 25th anniversary.

In 2010, the TDI {Turbocharged Direct Injection] diesel engine was introduced in the 5 door model of this car. Perhaps more importantly in 2008, it gained a five star safety rating for adult and child passengers under the EURO NCAP assessment scheme. The car is still being produced.

The SEAT MK3 continued the success of the MK2 and once again concentrated on marketing this model to the young car buyer. It capitalized on the sporty image of its predecessor and the new design by Walter De’Silva was certainly sporty and more aggressive.

As with the MK2 it came in 3 and 5 door hatchback models, but there was no estate model, probably as this would have been bad for its new image. It was not a model that was aimed at the family market. Once again it was available with either petrol or diesel engines, but these came in increased capacities.

This IBIZA model was launched in 2002 and in 2003 it was awarded the British magazine’s “What Car?” coveted title, Car of the Year. For three consecutive years it was also their “Supermini of the Year”.

It is the largest IBIZA that has been manufactured, having the capability of seating 5 adults and with a spacious, albeit short, boot [trunk].

In 2006 it underwent some cosmetic changes both inside and out, but basically remained the same car. It did, however increased engine powers have. This model last came off the production line in 2008.

The SEAT IBIZA Mk2s were first manufactured in 1993 and were discontinued in 2002.They were made by the VolksWagon Group and assembled in Spain and Brazil. The car was named after the Spanish island of Ibiza, which was and is popular with young people as a holiday destination.

Buyers had a choice of purchasing petrol or diesel fuelled versions with various engine capacities, i.e. I.05, 1.4, 1.6,and 1.8 petrol engines, and Turbocharged Direct Injection and Suction Diesel Injection [SDI] diesel engines, the same choices as purchasers had with the VW Polo.

The SEAT IBIZA MK2 suffered badly from comparisons to the VW Polo and was generally viewed as being its poor relation. In its early years the SEAT IBIZA MK2 was seen to be unreliable and of inferior quality when compared to the Polo and cars in the same niche of the market manufactured by other carmakers.

This perception changed, however, as it became a successful rally car, improving both its image and sales figures. It was marketed to the younger car buying generation and was advertised as sporty and affordable.

It finally proved, arguably, to be one of the best cars in Europe and had lost its earlier reputation of being unreliable.
